I’m excited to share with you a Montessori Setup Roundup of my setup posts and one awesome event! When I first started with the Montessori method in our home I was so overwhelmed. Where to start? How much is all this going to cost? What if I am on a budget? Can I still provide an amazing Montessori-Inspired environment for my child?

“Little children, from the moment they are weaned, are making their way toward independence.”

I have moved to seven different homes in the last three years where we have used the Montessori method to guide the setup of our homes. Our two children, (Samuel, almost 4, and Avalyn, 2) have thrived in every environment. Our largest space had 4 bedrooms and a dedicated playroom, huge living space and 3.5 acres when Sam was about 18 months old. Our smallest place was a one bedroom apartment where the four of us lived for 6 months while we searched for the home we are in now. Large or small every space has it advantages. I would love to share with you the things I have learned.

Blogging is an amazing way to get great information out. Here are a couple of my posts on how we setup our home when we lived in Atlanta, GA. I completed a three part series. Setting Up A Montessori Home Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3 can be found on our sister blog Confessions of a Montessori Mom.

I also have an event I would like to share with you called Get Your Toys in Order: a Montessori Approach. We had some amazing bloggers on this event sharing some of their favorite techniques to get their environments organized and store unused materials. Check it out!!
